Who we Are

Community Care Coalition is a collaborative, community-driven nonprofit organization formed in 2021 with a mission to support individuals and families through education, advocacy, and practical assistance. We work alongside local partners, agencies, and volunteers to address real needs, remove barriers, and create pathways toward stability and personal growth. Through programs that emphasize accountability, skill-building, and compassion, Community Care Coalition is committed to strengthening our community by investing in people, fostering hope, and encouraging positive, lasting change.

What we Do

Open Minds Initiative provides High School Equivalency (HSE) education and life skills programming within the Barry County jail. The program supports individuals in building academic foundations, personal responsibility, and practical skills needed for reentry. Open Minds Initiative helps participants prepare for continued education, employment, and positive community involvement upon release.
